How to Become a Florida Real Estate Instructor
Instructor Opportunities at the Tampa School of Real Estate

If so, you may be interested in becoming a state certified real estate instructor. With the recent growth in the real estate market, we are seeking new instructors to educate the agents of tomorrow.

Step 1: Fingerprinting
Step 2: DBPR Application
You will need to apply for your real estate license with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Approval of this application takes on average 1-2 weeks, but can take longer in special circumstances. The maximum waiting period for an approval is 90 days. You cannot schedule your state exam until this application is filed.
Florida Real Estate License Application Requirements:
- Be at least 18 Years Old
- Have a High School Diploma or it's Equivalent
- Posses a US Social Security Number (Get a US SSN Here)
Step 3: Schedule State Exam
Once your application is approved, you'll be able to schedule your state exam. The state exam is offered everyday however, we recommend scheduling in advance as there is often a 1-2 week waiting period.

Step 4: Study & Pass

Step 5: Apply with Tampa School of Real Estate
Once you have obtained your Florida Real Estate Instructor license, we would love to hear from you to see if you would be a good fit for the Tampa School of Real Estate.
